Menurut pendapat pribadi Kadis Pariwisata tujuan tugu Raja Sang naualuh dibangun sebagai apresiasi semasa hidup raja tersebut.<\/p><p>\u201cMerupakan salah satu apresiasi atas apa yang dilakukan Raja Sang naualuh selama masa hidupnya\u201d katanya ketika diwawancarai langsung pada Rabu, (11\/06\/2025)<\/p><p>Ia menyinggung kalimat yang pernah diucapkan oleh Soekarno. \u201cBangsa yang besar adalah bangsa yang menghargai sejarah bangsanya\u201d.<\/p><p>Menurut Sekretaris Yayasan Sang naualuh Damanik, Edi Juniharto, pembangunan tugu ini juga bertujuan untuk edukasi sejarah generasi muda. <br \/>&#8220;Monumen tersebut semata-mata dibangun sebagai pembelajaran dan pengingat bagi generasi muda bahwasanya di siantar pernah dipimpin seorang Raja, yaitu Raja Sang naualuh Damanik, &#8221; Ujarnya saat diwawancarai pada Rabu, (11\/06\/2025)<\/p><p>Pemerintah berencana menjadikan lokasi patung sebagai pusat kegiatan budaya dan pariwisata melalui penyelenggaraan seni, festival, serta promosi digital di berbagai platform seperti Instagram dan TikTok.<\/p><p>Sementara itu, Yayasan Sang naualuh juga telah mulai melakukan promosi melalui media sosial. Mereka bahkan menggelar pertunjukan tarian tor-tor sebagai tanda peresmian patung.
